Learning Square and Cube Roots

Recently Room 12 have been learning about Square and Cube Roots. To help us understand and learn more efficiently we used uni-link blocks. We learnt how to build a 2 Dimensional square and 3 Dimensional cube. At first it was a bit complicated but in the end we got used to doing it and were faster than ever. To me the uni-link blocks helped a lot. To not forget what square and cube roots look like we display them in class. It was very important of us to understand square and cube roots so next term they will help us to solve other equations.
